Keeping up with the Proses
Bookmarks organize your big notebooks.
When you’re building an app, there are opportunities called Good Problems to Have, which are your rewards for success. At the beginning, you’re focused on all of the Bad Problems to Have that you have, so you don’t think much about those far-off probbortunities. But if you’re very, very lucky, you will build an app that people find useful, and then the very best opproblunity of all will rear its ugly, beautiful head: What if people use the app a lot, for a very long time, because they like it?
Well! Here we are. We’ve been milling digital paper for three years and some of you now have a dozen notebooks with two hundred pages in each one and are still writing more. It’s time for the UI to catch up to the U.
Our first step is live in version 4.2: bookmarks. In the Minimap or Organizer, you can tap any page’s bookmark icon to mark it as a very important page.
Then, in the Minimap, you can filter out all lesser pages with the bookmark filter button. It makes jumping between notebook sections very easy.
There’s lots more to do! But I hope this helps guide you through the inky maze of your past self’s turbid thoughts, or your shopping lists or whatever.
